What free firewall will work with the new Ad-Aware free (10.x)?

Hi Cutty Sark,

Ad-Aware should work with all firewalls, since firewalls should be programmed to handle all types of programs. Of course, all firewalls need to be properly configured, for example to let antivirus programs fetch updates.

Is it some specific firewall you have in mind, or have you experienced issues before with Ad-Aware and firewalls?

I consider run Ad-Aware free with Comodo firewall free.

I think Comodo's firewall is rather complicated to configure but if you are used to it, it should be possible.

Personally I don’t care for there DNS servers, GeekBuddy or other stuff.

I tried Comodo Firewall maybe 4 years ago, but I uninstalled since I wasn't sure what different settings meant and how I was supposed to configure it for best security. Hopefully that has changed now and I wish you good luck!

I don't have any experience with that firewall at all.

Can somebody test comodo firewall or zone alram firewall with Ad-aware 10 ?Shed some light I some where read sunbelt driver is causing BSOD with comodo firewall.

Zone alram is running fine with AD-aware 10.

No problem with comodo firewall running along Ad-aware 10. first try it.
