Random kanji in installer

In the license agreement, some of the letters were replaced with kanji, as you can see in the attached file. I'm not getting random kanji in the program, though.

That is certainly not normal.
Please, right-click the installation file Ad-Aware96Install.msi and select Properties. Write here the exact size in bytes. Select the 'Digital signatures' tab and write here the time stamp. Just to be sure that you have the latest installation file.

The size is 12,021,760 bytes
The time stamp is Thursday, 03 November 2011 07:08:45 AM

My contact person at Lavasoft has now left the office for the weekend so I cannot ask him until Monday, but it is not the same as the file I downloaded yesterday. I downloaded from http://www.chip.de/d...e_13000824.html It is in German but I clicked the blue button with the text "Zum Download" and on next page "Download-Server CHIP Online".
Mine is 12,038,144 bytes and stamped 28 October.

Please, tell us your regional settings in Windows.
Control Panel - Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options (if visible) - Regional and Language Options
Lavasoft is interested in all settings on these tabs since that may influence the installation program and when they know your settings they will be able to test an installation with the same settings.
