Hello, first time I ever post here in hope for some help.

Just made a "smart scan" and it detected Trojan.Win32.Generic.pak!cobra in the Tibia.exe file and I am wondering if it's false trojan or anything I should be worried about.
Tibia is a game that I play pretty often and as soon as I reinstall the game, I can't even start it since Ad-aware is blocking it. Never had this problem before, dont know what more to add, if there is anything.. please let me know.

I attached the scanlog of the tibia folder.

Kind regards, Dny.

Removed the text file. Swedish users not amused.

Hi Dny,

Please, either attach the Tibia.exe file or provide a link from which Lavasoft can download the file to give Lavasoft all the information they need to be able to investigate if it is a false positive, see the guide http://www.lavasofts...showtopic=18033

It's a false positive. I had this problem too. LS admins should update their scanners.

Hello,

Well, I updated my scanner, but Ad-Aware still shows that a virus was detected.

MSG [2932] 2011/06/27 16:30:29: _path_\tibia.exe (diagnosis: Malware family: Trojan.Win32.Generic.pak!cobra) => Block

I re-installed the game client, but your scanner still blocks this process.

My Ad-Aware still shows that a virus was detected.

Apologies - I should have said that the file will no longer be detected as of an update to be published later today.
