Hi all,

My browser has been hijacked -- everything sends me to a google analytics link.
I am running win Xp sp3 with Norton Internet Security, and a completel system scan (with Norton up to date) does not detect anything.

I have downloaded the free version of Ad-aware but can't update the definitions:

Web update returns:
connection error, check your settings errorcode = -1

I have tried all methods described in the FAQs without success.
I also tried the manual update but the link [ http://download.lava...public/core.zip ]
is not working!

I ran a scan with the old definitions and nothing was picked up.

Any help is appreciated

That link is working, I tried some minutes before. But I don't know what is the solution of your problem.

I was same connection error, but after uninstall and reinstall Ad-Aware, this problem is solved.

Oh, I am using google, here is a link with same problem, and with the solution for you: http://www.google.co...e...59abe&hl=en

You have a Trojan Horse with DNS poisoning.

The correct link for the definitions is:

http://download.lava...core.aawdef.zip

You can access that link from these pages:
