Hi,

After an uninstall of AA next problem arise: some sites of internet are impossible to open, in particular sites of newspapers. A message says that the write operation is failed, and the screen is frozen. In the system management I reed in the logbook: the folow boot drivers are not loading: Lbd. Also the event 7026 is indicated.
Maybe someone can me help? Thanks.

win. XP SP3
IE8
AA 2008

Hi,

Could you please try the following and see if this fixes the issue for you:

Workaround:
Delete registry entry
Run Autoruns for Windows . Untick "Lbd" Ad-aware Mini-Filter Driver which is listed under HKLM\System|CurrentControlSet\Services. Reboot and, hopefully, your issue will be solved.

Casey

Did you install the new version after unticking that entry, or before?

Ok could you try removing the current version with Revo Uninstaller Free and run the left over scan on the highest setting.

Then just double check that the lbd reference has been removed (as before).

Then reinstall Ad-Aware and check that the problem is solved.

Thanks, the program is upgraded now by request of the program itself. :)
