Raz will be on later probably. He is more familar with the german version and will be of more help. There are some little differences in the different languages.

Till he is on try doing a clean uninstall and then go to here and download a new one to install. There is guide at the top of this thread that can help if you need it, but do follow what it says.
https://secure.lavas..._aware_free.php , you can also choose other sites. Presently, I recommend majorgeeks.

Hi Chrome :D
never seen this.
I need to know what's your firewall and your security-software.
Next is, where you've downloaded it ?
Act 3...
download and install ' HijackThis' from TrendMicro's.
run a scan and copy/paste the logfile in your next reply.

Hi!

I use Outpost Firewall Pro 2008 (Version 6.0.2295253) and Kaspersky AntiVirus 2009.
I downloaded it directly from the links on the Lavasoft homepage.

I am at a loss for words. I don't know what it could be. Maybe that lcd manager might be affecting or conflicting with the graphics, somehow.
Any till Raz comes back on, go ahead install your Kasp. and outpost. He just meant for you shut them down not uninstall them. That is one way of making sure that they didn't affect the download and install, though.

Hi Chrome
Du brauchst deine Software nicht zu deinstallieren >> nur ausschalten während des Downloads und der Installation.
You don't need to uninstall your software >> shut it down during download and install.
Dein HjTLog zeigt eine STEGANOS Installation >> Bitte schalte STEGANOS ebenfalls aus wenn du einen neuen
Versuch starten möchtest.
Your HjT log shows a STEGANOS installation >> Pls shut it down also if wan't you to start a new attempt.
Diese Symptome sind mir völlig unbekannt, so das ich nur raten kann.
I never saw this symptoms, so it's like fishing in muddy waters.
Lass uns wissen ob und wie es funktioniert.
Let us know how it works.

Hello,

after a lot of tests i know now that Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 produces the problems.

After the installation of KAV 2009 i have the graphic bugs.

And this bugs are not only in AD-Aware, here is another example:

So its Kasp.

Is it only after that adaware is installed with Kasp that this glitch comes up?

You might try letting the Kasp people know about it, so they can fix it. I don't know if Lavasoft can fix it on their end, but I or Raz can tell Calamity, so that LS knows about it. Strange glitch

Hi,

this problem is known by Kaspersky.

There is already a beta-update available that solves the problem...
