License Expiration

If I were to download 2008 version, would it overwrite the old version and how much would it cost.
The 2007 has always caused me problems but I even though I wrote about these problems I never got a response which helped me to resolve them. Hopefully the2008 version might correct these errors.
A quick response would be appreciated.
My name is Knox Kirnon and any details required in an effort to trace my details will be forwarded asap.

You can download AAW 2008 without any problem. I would advise you to remove AAW 2007 before installing 2008. Your licence will be carried over from 2007 providing you have NOT changed any hardware on your PC.
Please post back with results.
Tks yr input. H/ever, have you any idea how long it will take before being advised of license expiry? I previously used AAW 2007 PLUS whereby ad-watch did not work. This expires end of this month. Now I have decided to use the PRO version. The new installation worked, but I am wondering how come even after doing the upgrade, I am or have not yet been asked/advised of any extra cost.

I will have a look and see how that works. I assume you are running AAW 2008 PLUS now and wish to upgrade to PRO??
I'll post back tomorrow.
On the contrary I downloaded AAW 2008 PRO, installed successfully which meant the AD-Wach is now active. Should I not have to pay for the PRO version. Strange.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. Here is a screen shot of what it should like. Note that this shows PLUS and number of days remaining. Do you have that? If so, you must have received something for nothing. I am not sure if you are notified when expiry becomes imminent. You may have to contact Sales at LS for that.
HI Peter,
Weekend, so only now responding.
Things have become clearer and must admit I perhaps mislead you concerning PLUS vs PRO
This came about because when downloading/installing the program, it was mentioned as the PRO version. Not so apparently because I have noticed somewhere along the line, that one is not able to activate Connect Ad-Watch if not having the PRO version. Attached screenshot will show that I do have the Plus version.
I am positive that at some stage since your last response, on more than one occasion I saw details of statistics mentioned in the Ad-Watch Status shown in screenshot. These details were asking whether I should allow or deny what was being shown. Can I assume that such details are only available in Pro Version and I am t/4 unable to connect. If that is the case I presume that Lavasoft made an error and did not realise at some stage but corrected automatically. Excuse my naivety but technical knowledge very limited.
Five (5) attachments all together are being submitted and if possible please advice if the settings are correct where necessary. Is there somewhere the default settings can be found?
If the attachments being sent exceed the limit, will arrange to forward the others separately.
You will also notice that I have only done to date one scan. Which is the best scan to use of the three mentioned?
I would like to mention that when I used version 7, the details currently shown in Ad-Watth Status were at no stage possible because I had endless problems trying to get a solution to my problems. Never got a satisfactory response either from Lavasoft or any which helped using the forum.
Tks
P.S. It would appear that I won't have to pay anthing at all because as you can see, license being mentioned expires in 361 days.

Yes, looks fine. There are a couple of suggestions I could make but if you are happy with it just leave it the way it is.
Hi Peter
Tks. Your help much appreciated. Perhaps can close this particular thread but before so doing, just out of curiosity, exactly what suggestions were you thinking about.
By the way, on a personal note I see from your profile, place of residence is Australia. Are you by any means a CRICKET FAN ???

Here are my settings as per attached screen shots but up to you if you want to use them. Have a look at the Help file to see what the settings do.
As for cricket - no, I don't like it.I was not born in Australia but in the Netherlands looooong ago and arrived here in 1951. You can check my profile as well I believe. I will close this topic after you have had another look at it.
Hi Peter
Your help/advise appreciated. Agree we can put an end to this thread. Hopefully everything continues to without any hitches.
Also noted yr comments regarding Cricket, hence reason for not being a fan. Accidently without going into details, suffice it to say that I live not too far from one of the Dutch Borders. Currently residing in Germany but originally from GB.
