Hi
I can't remove "Softomate Toolbar". When i doo a Ad-aware scan there is found 2 objects of this component.
Ad-Aware dos remove the items, but the next time I start my browser and performe a new scan there is still 2 items "Softomate Toolbar". I have tried seacing the registry, but there are no entries called "Softomate".
Can anybody tell how to remove this item permanently???

I am running Windows XP danish version. Can you maybe tell the danish translation for "Tools menu" (Danish= værktøj) I don't have a (Tools/værktøj) menu.
The top menubar displays= Filer - Rediger - Vis - Foretrukne - Funktioner - Hjælp.
English/US = Files - Edit - Show - Favorites - Funktions - Help.

You might try this if you are running XP ...

Open Internet Explorer, and on the Tools menu, click Manage Add-ons.

See if Softomate Toolbar is listed in the Show box ... if so, click on it, then Disable. Then we can figure out why it hasn't removed properly.
