I have even completed the below recommended actions and still the same error code 1722.

Recommended by Lavasoft Tech Support:

This problem relates to the MSI installer from Microsoft; it is
associated with either an outdated or corrupt Windows Installer or with
permission for Windows Script Hosting (WSH).

First of all, download the latest installation package by logging in to
the support center at the link below:
http://www.lavasoft..../supportcenter/

You will see all the products you have purchased with us and can
download each product from the "Download Software" links on the page.

You can receive a password reminder here;

UPDATING WINDOWS INSTALLER

* Please use the link below to visit Microsoft's support website,
which will help you resolve the issue.
http://www.microsoft...;displaylang=en
* Please restart your computer once you have updated this installer.
* Reinstall the Ad-Aware 2007 software and register.

UPDATING WINDOWS SCRIPT HOSTING

* Please use the link below to visit Microsoft's support website,
which will help you resolve the issue.
http://www.microsoft...;DisplayLang=en
* Please restart your computer once you have updated this installer.
* Reinstall the Ad-Aware 2007 software.

CONFIGURING WSH PERMISSIONS
Warning: Do not try to edit registry keys if you are unfamiliar with the
Windows Registry. Attempt this only at your own risk; Lavasoft does not
take responsibility.

* In the Windows Start menu, open run and type 'regedit' in the
command line. Click 'Ok'.
* Check for either or both of the following registry keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Script
Host\Settings\Enabled
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows Script
Host\Settings\Enabled

If either of those has a DWORD value of '0', then scripting is disabled.
Changing the values to '1' should enable scripting.

Hi
I'm having the same problem. Tried to follow your instructions but when I click on the link you provided it returns an error.
Could you try it and see if it works for you?
Thanks

I got the 1722 too. Before, I had Ad-Aware SE installed and I was trying to upgrade.

The Windows checking & adjusting did not work for me.

Then I went to Windows Add/Remove Programs and Removed AdAware SE. After that, my install of AdAware 2007 completed properly.

Try That!
