I use Windows XP pro and Ad-Aware SE 1.06
A have a few queries.
1) I can scan a few time – one after another and each time Ad-Aware find new virus.
Why? Look like it was not deleted in first time.
2) Ad-Aware detected Virus/Worm, Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other}
C:\DOCUME~1\Boris\LOCALS~1\Temp\AAWTMP\C18277453\342B84
I deleted, but when I scan again Ad-Aware detected again this virus.
I scan in Safe Mode-the same problem.
Haw can I delete this Trojan?
Please help me.

Many thx.

Hello Alina,
Welcome to Lavasoft Support Forums.
You can manually delete the C:\DOCUME~1\Boris\LOCALS~1\Temp\AAWTMP\C18277453\342B84 file/folder. This is the AAW quarantine folder where AAW keeps copies of things you have quarantined in case you wish to restore them. I find it strange however that it cannot remove it during a scan. Is "Boris" YOUR user account? Are you logged in as Administrator?

could you use the WebUpDate
to make sure you got the latest Definition file
SE1R104 18.04.2006 then scan doing a "Full Scan" and then post your logfile here by using the Add-Reply Feature.
GRAFX
Q: does it work
A: It does seem to for a few hours at least

Alina, do you have some form of real-time anti-virus software on your computer? as realtime scanners block access to infected files. If you do, you should do a full system scan with your anti-virus program and delete anything it finds in the AAQ quarantine folder....
Thanks
